EDMmodelServer™ is a multi-user platform for deploying industrial-strength solutions based on open data standards such as ISO 10303, ISO 12006, ISO 15926, ISO 16739 and can be designed to meet ISO 14721 OAIS. The three high level functional areas that EDMmodelServer™ addresses are data exchange managememt, information quality management and long-term archiving of product model data. EDMmodelServer™ is able to serve and manage product model data throughout the lifecycle of the product from design & simulation where concurrent engineering is essential to product life cycle support for accessing maintenance data during the service of the product.
