Capvidia and Jotne EPM Technology Partner to Deliver Long Term 3D and PLM Data Archiving Solution

– Capvidia, the leading developer of 3D CAD translation software announces a partnership with Jotne EPM Technology, an innovative software company providing solutions for Industrial Data Management, using open and publicly available standards.  Together, Capvidia and Jotne EPM Technology will launch a new product for long term 3D Data Archiving at the North American Aerospace Expo in Anaheim, CA, Nov 13-16, 2006.

This new product, EDMmodelServer™ for 3D and PLM will support the implementation of the EN9300 standard (LOTAR) for archiving 3D data.  The EDMmodelServer™ from EPM has been extended to include the verification of the 3D STEP model.  The verification of the 3D STEP models is performed using Capvidia’s proprietary 3DTransVidia technology.
