| CASA Construcciones Aeronauticas S.A. (CASA), the leading Spanish aeronautical company celebrates its 75th anniversary in 1998. Over the years, it has developed the technological and production capabilities that enable it to compete successfully in international civil and military markets. As well as producing a range of aircraft in-house, CASA is also a member of several European consortia, including EUROFIGHTER and AIRBUS. One of Sweden's leading advanced technology groups, Celsius has a focus on the defence and related commercial sectors of industry world-wide. Bofors Missiles develops and manufactures air defence and anti-armour missile systems. Several decades of continuous development have given the company a high level of competence, particularly within the area of electronics. The Celsius group places particular emphasis on integrated logistic support. | EMSA The European Maritime Step Association (EMSA) is a community of European organisations in the maritime sector. Together, they are seeking to improve their communication capabilities by promoting the ISO 10303 STEP standard. EMSA plays an important role in promoting the exploitation of marine product modelling by the industry in Europe as well as contributing to the development of the ISO standard. EMSA's Technical Committee have recently been involved in the selection of a toolkit to support their Building Block Server. A number of available toolkits were evaluated for their ability to meet EMSA's requirements; these included reliable syntax checking compilation, short-form based schema generation and HTML generation. | Intergraph A Fortune 100 company, Intergraph is the world's leading vendor of process plant design systems and a leading force in the drive towards standards-based open systems in the CAD community. The detailed design and engineering for many projects is carried out using their Plant Design System (PDS) suite of software products, now available on the Windows NT platform. AIM, Intergraph's Asset Information Management toolset complements the data creation capabilities of PDS. Based on the Metaphase PDM kernel, it provides for the management of the database delivered by PDS and other applications for the life of an asset. | VTT VTT, the Technical Research Centre of Finland, is an independent research organisation with nearly 3000 employees. Its clients and cooperative partners come from industrial enterprises, other companies and businesses and universities and research institutes. VTT Building Technology is one of the nine research institutes within VTT. With 400 employees, its focus is on all aspects of the building lifecycle - basic technologies, design, materials, components and structures, HVAC and fire systems, economics and production as well as use and maintenance. VTT Building Technology will be using EDMvisualEXPRESS in the project CONCUR (Concurrent Design and Engineering in Building and Civil Engineering).
