EPMT and Fujitsu have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, MoU

EPM Technology (EPMT), Norway and Fujitsu (FQS Fujitsu Kyushu System Engineering LTD) in Japan have signed a MoU to exchange information and advice within Express and STEP based solutions.

According to the MoU, Fujitsu Kyushu Systems Engineering is scheduled to expand its business in education, consulting, tool supply and also customer applications development related to STEP and/or its technology for the necessity of Japanese industries. More over FQS is looking for the business in any Asian developing countries.

EPMT has assisted in the establishment of a complete training facility based on a site license of the EXPRESS Data Manager product line, at the main office of FQS in Fukuoka south of Japan. The systems included all data modeling applications, STEP read/write libraries and validation tools. Training and consulting activities have been part of the project.

- The project is a breakthrough for the Far East market, says Kjell A. Bengtsson, SVP Sales and Marketing, - We'll continue to aggressively assist to the most interesting projects within NCALS, JSTEP and others.
