Learn about STEP and the EXPRESS data specification languagePublished 1998-03-25
The development of new technologies and standards in the market place is constantly evolving. In order to meet and adapt to this challenge EPM Technology's Business Partner Program offer training in STEP and EXPRESS-based technology on introductory and advanced levels. We also provide customized and on-site courses tailored to suit your organization's particular needs.
The following training classes are conducted on a regular basis: Class 1: Management introduction to STEPDevelop an understanding of the concept of the STEP standard and the business benefits; be introduced to the EXPRESS data definition language; and learn about application protocols. Class 2: Introduction to the EXPRESS language (ISO 10303-Part 11)As part of STEP, the EXPRESS data definition language has a key position for defining all parts of the standard that are targeted at implementation. This class gives a well balanced introduction to the language and the objective is to give the student basic knowledge about EXPRESS data models. Class 3: EXPRESS / SDAI / EXPRESS-X Implementation CourseThis class gives a well balanced introduction to implementation methods and the objective is to make the student able to interface existing or new applications with STEP, and learn to make use of the SDAI and EXPRESS-X functionalities. All our classes include examples and hands-on experience, and we also welcome discussions about problems and topics pertaining to your organization.
