Lockheed Martin and EPM sign MOA for high-speed database system

A Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to use EPM's EXPRESS Data Manager product suite to develop an ISO-compliant, high-speed database system for fighter aircraftprogrammes has been signed by Lockheed Martin Tactical Aircraft Systems of Fort Worth, Texas, and EPM Technology AS of Oslo, Norway.

US flag EPM's technology will be used to insert data into and extract data from various Lockheed Martin information systems, including finite element database management systems.

The EPM agreement is part of the overall F-16 industrial co-operation programme that is being offered to Norway in support of the New Combat Aircraft fighter competition. Lockheed Martin has committed over 3 million NOK to help fund the joint activities for the development of the high-speed database system.
