EDMmodelServer ™/IFC enables the right version information to be shared between a single-source database and heterogeneous applications. Interoperability is offered by native implementation of the buildingSMART standard IFC, dictionary capabilities supporting IFD library specification and the contractual data interchange specification IDM. The system also support the IFC compatibility with the geographic standards GML, the civil engineering standard landXML as well as the structural standard CIS/2.

EDMmodelServer™/IFC provides a powerful data manipulation language for building any type of database applications that can be accessed using web services. It has successfully been used for Government e-submission systems, automated building code checking, accessibility design and control, project datawarehouses, product catalogues and knowledge systems.
