Servicing the gas industries
The Jotne Group has recently helped Norsk Hydro and others with a series of gas related engineering projects. A few examples of these are:
At Sauda, where Eramet has taken over the production plant, Jotne has been responsible for condition monitoring (beneficiation inspections) and verification of the carbon oxide (CO) pipeline network.

At Brunsbüttel in Northern Germany the Jotne Group has performed pre-engineering studies for a hydrogen purification plant. Brunsbüttel is a gas plant operated by Norsk Hydro.
Jotne has done piping analyses and cost estimates in conjunction with a plant for glass fiber reinforced plastic - GRP - for Norsk Hydro in Malaysia. Jotne has also helped Hydrogas develop procedures for quality control routines for operation of ammonia tanks.
