Finnish company develops CIMsteel translator

Tekla Oy, the Finnish Computer Integrated Manufacturing company, is an associate collaborator in the Pan-European CIMsteel project.
The company is currently developing CIMsteel translators between CIS Data Exchange Protocols (DEP) 1 and 4 to their steel detailing software Xsteel. After testing STEP implementation tools, they chose EPM Technology's toolkit EDMdeveloperSeat to be integrated into and support the CIMsteel translators and other products, among them AP 230 for Constructional Steelwork (ISO 10303-230).
