FAIR information services - a new partner for EPM Technology

EPM Technology has signed a non-exclusive agreement with FAIR information services BV in Amsterdam. It gives FAIR the right to distribute EPM's software in the Benelux countries, i.e. Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.

Lloyd's Register (LR), the international ship classification society, has released ShipRightIS, a new software system for ship structural design. EXPRESS Data Manager provides the STEP interface of the new product.

GIS heading for EXPRESS-based standards

Producers of maps and geographical data are now defining STEP-based standards for Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Both the National Land Survey of Sweden and the Norwegian Mapping Authority use EDMvisualExpress from EPM Technology in this work.

Techmate Corporation, giving Techmate the right to distribute EPM's
software in Korea.

New standards for data exchange in ship operations
1998-03-25
Operating a ship on the seven seas involves a lot of costly information exchange regarding daily operation, maintenance, safety measures and reports asked for by the authorities and classification societies. Cost-effective data exchange will therefore save both time and money. Headed by Det Norske Veritas (DNV), a very interesting standardization project within the Norwegian shipping environment is now to be launched.
